Taking Down the Tents

Monday, September 21 — 9 am to 1 pm

We need at least 12 people to help take the tents down on September 21th, 2026. The tent owner will arrive at 9 am and the process is expected to take less time than putting it up. Afterward, there is a smaller, second tent we will also be taking down, which is expected to take relatively little time, possibly 40 minutes.

Watching the Tent

The tent owner requires that there always be at least one person watching the tent (and equipment inside) when no one else is around. The tent will be in the park a full week, starting Monday, September 14th at 9 am, and it will stay there until the following Monday, September 21 at 9 am.

We need help watching the tent. You do not need to be big or strong.  You won’t need to physically stop anyone, just simply to be there and be able to call the police if someone were to try to take anything. We have spoken to the police and they will be nearby if anyone calls them for help. Just the fact that someone is there watching would be a deterrent for any opportunistic thief.

We will have a trailer onsite for the security person to sit in, we have electricity, we have bathrooms, food, water and other things necessary. All we need is someone watching.
